TOPIC: Has Product Categories been thoroughly checked?

Has Product Categories been thoroughly checked? 4 years, 9 months ago #1

I installed SA today and gave it a go. I need SA to reconcile my accounts on a product category basis. That's why the product category analysis is the most important for me.

My system is:
Joomla 1.5.26
Atend 1.1
SA 2.1 - Settings are Mdate and Shipping as success
VM 1.1.9

I quickly realised that the Gross Income Percentages view in the Product Categories section doesn't match up. In order to test it I calculated the data on an Excel Spreadsheet and compared it to the Sales-Gross Income view. I assumed that that view is correct because it is the most basic.
Sales-Gross Income matches my Excel data but the Success dates are off. I processed orders on July 2 and July 6. SA shows me July 1 and July 5. If there is any reason for this I would be happy to know how to change it.

The Product Categories view doesn't match up at all.
-The Gross income is wrong.
-The #order is wrong. It lists the number of items per category. Not the number of orders
-It lists one category without any name. It must be the "Original Buff®" category but I can't figure out why it doesn't assign the items there.
-The #items is something I could not figure out. Please advice what this is
-The #Products is something I could not figure out. Please advice what this is

I have created screen-shots from both views and my Excel-list for you to have a look but I can't upload them. The system doesn't allow me. I'll send them via email. Hope we can solve this fast.

Best Regards,

Edward

I figured this one out by chance. The products don't exist any more in the database they have been purged. The calculation is correct for these 3 items.

It isn't if you consider Freight costs an income in the Sales view. Of course in the Category view it isn't possible as you can't break down the freight costs per category.
