Hi guys

We use your component since first version to send to our warehouse a prediction of the products - really helpfull for us selling fruits.

However it will be great if they could access to this information via de frontend website too.

Although we are stuck on an older version this seems impossible yet.

Regards

Hi Manuxx,

In what way? I mean, do they have to get access to any specific report type, or the whole Sales Analytics?

At this moment, the Sales Analytics module (included in version 2.1) can display reports on the Frontend, and you can use Joomla modules access rules to grant access to it.

We are also working on a new feature to automatically build and send by email report types (adjustable by report type and by recipient). Maybe this feature will solve your issue better.

Regards.

Hi,

Thanks for reply.

Ideally would be great to choose an especific report, in our case the "product overall income" which shows a list of products and the quantity is what our warehouse needs to check.

So yeah, a module or a menu item where we can limit the access would be great.

The e-mails sounds as a good solution, but automatic how? with a cron task? in that case even better.

Hi Manuxx,

At this moment, if you are using Sales Analytics version 2.1 or later, you can install a Sales Analytics module to be shown on the Frontend (it's included in the release).

On this module settings you can chose whether to display: all available reports for the module, just the reports in one area, or just a single report.

In your case you could select to display just one report. Then using Joomla ACL rules you can make this Joomla module only visible to a given group of users, granting access to the warehouse managers using Joomla user acounts.

On the other hand, as I told you, we're working on automatically sending reports by email using cron tasks, but it isn't ready yet and we still don't know when it will be released. Probably in a few of weeks.

Regards.

Hello

Any update in the cron emails? This feature is really interesting.

The frontend module is fine but some things you might want to check out:

We are trying to show only 2 columns from a concrete report:

Oops sorry, no edit button in fórum:

Also: There is no "print" or "export to xls" function from the module.

Anyway I believe the best option is the cron emails.

Hi Manuxx,

About your questions:

- The table fields list parameter uses numeric values. If you just want to get the 3rd and 5th columns, for example, it should read 3,5.
- There is no export feature from the module because it was designed as a secondary display. The main report features are available on the backend. Do you need the export feature there? We could develop it.
- The email cron task is still on our to-do list, beacuse we want to make it right from the beginning. We want a well featured email system that is useful to every one, and this can take some time to develop.

The Front End module is a fantastic addition!

Can I select a date range for the reports, or is it only the previous 30 days?

Also, it would be fantastic to have a data export facility.... I have a client who... well, lets say it would be better if this client didn't get into the back-end!
