Hello,

I am using joomla 3.6.2 and virtuemart 3.0.17.4

When i compare the numbers with the standard vm report there is a different sales amount.

For example sales for 1 month (januari 2016)

VM report says: 1064 €
Sales analytics says: 1245 €

VM report says I had 31 orders with 151 items
sales analytics say 31 order with 146 item

What can be the problem?

Hey,
I noticed the same. I checked sales of the last month. Although the amounts and number of orders are not the same both views are correct I think.

The difference is how orders are counted, especially with sales on the last day of the month. I used shipped status, but also by "Modification date". And this makes the difference. Are sales counted in the month before or the current month.

one more difference.
The gross income in sales analytics is including shipping cost and shipping tax. The VM report only show Revenue gross, which is revenue net times TAX, excluding shipping cost and shipping tax.

Hi,

I counted all the orders one by one of the last 2 months and sales analytics has it right and has the correct total amount

Now in my experience the standard vm reports has it wrong

very confusing

The difference is really the last order(s) of the previous month. So if you look at August, the difference will be the order(s) of the 31 of July.
